The Royal Horticultural Society is the UK’s leading gardening charity. They aim to enrich everyone’s life through plants and flowers and inspire millions of gardeners and to make the UK a greener and more beautiful place.

The RHS strives to be a catalyst for change and has therefore banned the use of all phenolic foam since 2021. They also aim to be 100% peat free in all of their operations by 2025.

The Chelsea Flower Show (part of the RHS) has consistently been considered the world’s greatest flower show revealing cutting edge garden design and fabulous floral displays. It is exciting to see their commitment to sustainability as they moved away from the use of all phenolic foam in the show.
